they are extensions which allows to mount the needle of the Moltke down without touching the bottom of the nozzle
mounts on the Mikuni VM (round the ball section) but not fit perfectly on the oblong section Mikuni 22 and 26 that need a thread 0.75mm. But this 0.80 can be use by screwing with a little bit more stress
